In Khajuraho, you’ll be privy to a taste of enigmatic craftsmanship of sculptures and statues idealizing the essence of life and its abstractness in Hindu temples. Lastly, in Jaipur you’ll witness a ancient city bathe with grand palaces and towering forts.
Proposed Itinerary
Day One: Arrive in Delhi, the first day starts with a mild sightseeing program visiting some important places in the classic city of old Delhi. The sightseeing program captures the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, and Sahnti Vana. Moving on to New Delhi, it welcomes you with its splendid monuments like Rashtrapati Bhawan (once host to the imperial British viceroys), India Gate, (a memorial dedicated to the martyrs of the Afghan War), Laxmi Narayan Temple, Qutab Minar built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and lotus-shaped Baha'i Temple.
Day Two (Delhi to Varanasi): Start your day early morning with a breakfast and fly to Varanasi. After arriving at Varanasi visit the Sarnath, and the River Ghats. Varanasi is also known as Benares or Kashi. It gives you the taste of Hinduism and is the epic centre for Yoga. Highlighting, the holy river Ganges, you can cruise in the holy river and feel the divinity of the place. Likewise, you can also visit numerous temples located around the Ghats (river banks) where most of the times the Ghats are flocked by people commencing rituals and taking the holy bath.
Day Three (Varanasi to Khajuraho): After lavishing yourself in spirituality of Varanasi, you can start your fourth day with a sunrise boat ride in the river and explore the different aspect of Hindu rituals and traditions. The Ganges portrays the diffused colors of life and death; exemplifying the reality of Hinduism. In the afternoon fly back to Khajuraho.
Day Four (Khajuraho-Agra): Exploring and witnessing the essence of Khajuraho will certainly amaze you. The fourth day starts with a tour of the world famous statues and sculptures carved in temples and stone walls of Khajuraho. Moreover, you will visit temples like Chaunseath Yogini, Lalguan Mahadev, Parvati, Varaha, Matangesvara, Lakshmana, Vishvanath and Nandi, Chitragupta, Devi Jagdamba and Kandariya Mahadeo. After the exploration drive to Jhansi and board a train to Agra
Day Five (Agra to Jaipur): The day five welcomes you to the land of Taj. As famous in the world for its beauty and elegance, the Taj stands firm in a picturesque setting welcoming people to cherish it in their memories. Taj Mahal the symbol of eternal love is made of white marble and its walls are adorned with delicate Pietra Dura (stone inlay) work. After that exciting experience then you will visit Fatehpur Sikri a desert town enlisted in the world heritage site. The town showcases a high Mugal influence. Making a move again, drive to Jaipur and enjoy the splendid color of Jaipur.
Day Six day (Jaipur): The pink city welcomes you to be a part of its rich culture and tradition. Jaipur has a blend of Rajasthani and Mugal architecture where time is stagnant to define its aura. One can even visit the near by Central Museum which offers a wide range of knowledge about the art, craft, livelihood etc of the History and people. The tour also includes a visit to the Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds which orchestrates the royal essence of the female status and their life style of that time.
Day Seven (Jaipur to Delhi): After that exciting experience in the pink city then you drive back to Delhi.
